The 2 Hour Volunteer Pledge
It has been demonstrated that help in the school makes a huge difference to the performance of our students. Our school in conjunction with the PTA has started using a program called 2 Hour Power. If we can get every West Jordan Elementary parent to commit to just 2 Hours of helping, we can do amazing things for our students and our school. Participating in the program is easy. Simply complete the interest Survey & Pledge form that will come home with your student. We will then be in touch with opportunities that fit your interests. Or you can click on the link below and print out the form to turn into the office. You do not have to be a PTA member to help out.
Lunch will be served the first day of school at a cost of $1.75 per day and must be pre-paid. Reduced price lunches will remain at $0.40 each. Breakfast will be served at 8:10 the first day of school. Breakfast prices are $0.80 per day or $0.30 for the reduced breakfast. The cost of milk will remain at $0.25 each. For students currently on or applying for free or reduced lunch, these applications must be submitted to the school each and every year. Until applications are turned in and approved students will need to pay for lunches. Lunch fees are not retroactive upon the approval of free/reduced lunch applications, so the sooner you get the applications in the sooner they can be approved.
