CRT Testing
CRT testing is finished for the school year at West Jordan Elementary. We would like to thank all those parents and students who made it a priority to be to school and do their best on the tests. Thank you for another successful year at West Jordan Elementary.
JR Jags Run for Fund$
The PTA Run for Fund$ will be held on Friday, May 25th. Sponsorship money is due before Friday, May 25th. The money from this fundraiser is needed in order to fund PTA activities for the 2012-2013 school year. Great prizes will be awarded to the students who collected money. Parents please support your children in this activity. Thank you for your support.
Lost and Found
As the school year comes to an end it is time to check the lost and found for anything that your student may have left at the school. Missing coats and lunch boxes can be found in the cafeteria. We also have found 2 pairs of glasses, 1 ipod, a man's wrist watch, and a nintendo DS game. If you are missing any of those they can be claimed at the office.
School Community Council News
The minutes for the May 3rd Community Council have been posted on the Community Council Page. The council is currently seeking parents that are willing to be involved for the 2012-2013 school year. The School Community Council held a meeting this month. The council helps identify priorities for spending, direct a fundraiser for the school, and give input for safe walking routes etc.
Principal's Pride
Several student at West Jordan Elementary have been leaders this week. Their work is being celebrated at Principal's Pride. Check out the Principal's Corner for the list of our Principal's Pride students for the week.
Policy Change
This is a reminder that photo ID is now required to pick up your children if you are checking you student out of school. Please remember students cannot be checked out from school by anyone not listed on the yellow registration card. If you need to add someone onto the card please contact the office.
Kindergarten Registration
It is not too late to register for kindergarten. If you have a child who will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2012, that child qualifies for the 2012-2013 school year kindergarten program. Click on the link below to print the registration form and take it into the school office. The school district uses this information to help allocate the amount of teachers our school has. It is important to get your child registered!

Box Tops Etc.
As always we are still collecting Box Tops for Education, Campbells Soup Labels . We would like to thank all those who collected Milk Caps. That program has been discontinued.
