Spirit Gram Wrap Up and Student Council News
In February Student Councilhad our Spirit Gram Fundraiser. We made almost $900! Thank you to everyone who participated. The money is used for Student Council expenses, includingthe chance to attend a leadership conference in the fall.
We also helped with Parent University. Lexi Z. conducted the meeting, and Issac Atwood led the Pedge of Allegiance. Student Council members also participated in skits and the 7 Habits Song.
Finally, the Student Council assisted with the informal Lighthouse Review. Members of the council led a tour of the leadership displays throughout the school and wxplained how they fit with the Seven Habits. and leadership principals.
West Jordan Elementary is working on preparing for Community Leadership Day on April 9th. To do this students can earn their Leadership Stars. Students can choose a leader in their community to come to Community Leadership day. Students can personally deliver a star and ask if they would like an invitation to leadership day. Instructions have been sent home with each student. Forms are due back as soon as possible. When students return the form they will receive a leadership star too!
