CRT Testing Has Begun

Testing has begun at West Jordan Elementary. From now until May 10th students will be taking their end of there testing on various days. We ask that families do not take students out of school for vacations or other social activities during this time. All students from 3rd to 6th grade will be tested. You can help your students do better by doing a few things for them. Please make sure they get good rest the night before and have a good breakfast in the morning. Thank you for helping your student be successful as possible.

Principal's Message

Parent University

Parents are cordially invited to attend Parent University for Leader in Me. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the leadership skills your students are learning in school. We will learn what the 7 Habits are and how they apply to the students. Many of our students will be performing in the program. Come and see what your students are doing. Parent University will be held at the elementary school, May 2nd at 7:00 p.m.

Community Council Minutes Updated

The minutes for the April 18th community council meeting have been updated on the Community Council Page. Check them out to find out what is going on. The Community Council is an important way for parents to volunteer and make a difference for our school. Community Council elections will be held in the fall for those who are interested.

Reminder

Just a reminder that if you want to check out your student or talk to your student during the school day, you will need to have a valid photo ID. Thank you for your help.

Volunteer Information

Those parents who would like to volunteer at the school by going on field trips and/or working one on one with students need to fill out a volunteer form. If you already have a form on file you do not need to fill out a new one. For those who are filling out the volunteer form for the first time, you will need to be finger printed also. Be sure that the form has the necessary signatures before going to the district to be finger printed. Click on the link below to print the form.
