2nd Grade Distinguished Cub
Students must complete 12 of 16 of the following:

1. *Addition facts to 20 (100 fact test in 10 min. @ school).

2. * Subtraction Facts to 20 (100 fact test in 10 min. @ school)

3. * Memorize and write your first and last name, phone
number, address and birthday.
4. *Complete 50 hours of home reading during the year. (reading minutes must be turned in on time.)

5. * Recognize coins and count coins up to the amount of $1.00

6. * Demonstrate the ability to tell time in quarter hour increments.

7. * Demonstrate appropriate 2nd grade behavior. (Determined by individual teacher behavior plan.)

8. * Submit a reflections entry.

9. *Participate in the second grade culture fair

10. *Publish at least 3 student authored stories, following teacher's directions.
11.*Maintain a 90% average on spelling tests for the year.

12.*Locate continents and oceans on a map or globe (i.e. North America, Antarctica, Australia, Africa, *Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean etc.)

13. *Complete and return Reading Quilt

14. *Meet individual reading goal.

15.*Complete AT HOME a one month Weather Journal.

16. *Identify all grade level sight words.
