Present: Spencer Jacobs, Emily Tippets, Janet Brown, Edward Glass, Jan Givens, Cheryl Holland, Zac Halter, Norleen Hamann, Melissa Nelson, Leila Mortensen
1. ISQ results- The scores increased for instruction from teachers, and technology.
- Box Tops –Emily Tippets agreed to head up the box tops store this year. She will talk with Mr. Jacobs and schedule the first box tops store some time in October.
- Fundraiser- Janet Brown has agreed to be in charge of the fundraiser again this year. Mr. Jacobs will bring a new list of fundraising options and Janet will look into possibly trying something new. The student council will determine the charitable fundraiser later in the year.
- New Staff- Mr. Jacobs made us aware of the staff hired this year.
- Budget Projections- Mr. Jacobs went over the budget from last year & it was agreed that the budget would remain the same for this year.
- Elections of SCC officers- Darlene Hammond was voted to remain as chair and Norleen Hamann will serve as vice chair.
- Misc. - There will be sound system upgrades made in classrooms. There will be projection units with document readers. The internet access will be upgraded about Sept. 1st. The school is fully staffed & there are 1000 students, a slight decrease from last year.
