Mrs. Anderson is in her third year here at Jordan Ridge Elementary and she loves it! She knows that she gets to work with the greatest students and teachers in the whole state.
Mrs. Anderson still loves to read, sew and quilt. Mrs. Epperson has introduced her to a whole new world of fantasy literature and so Mrs. A. is having to read a lot to keep up or catch up to Mrs. Epperson. She always has a project going–but has not finished as many as she had hoped. This last year she did get a quilt map done for her grandson, a Hawaiian shirt quilt for her husband and a new bedspread.
Mrs. Anderson will be attending BYU Cites this year, so each month she will be gone for a couple of days. Again she is very excited about the opportunity to read, learn and meet with others from all over the Wasatch front, but she does not like to miss work.
Mrs. Anderson has a B.S. degree at Utah State University in Elementary Education. She has a M. Ed. degree at Utah State University in Library Science. She received her Administrative Certificate at Southern Utah University. The teaching positions that she has held have been Kindergarten teacher at Providence Elementary in the Cache County district. She has taught 23 years in the Jordan School District as a Kindergarten, 1st grade, 5th grade, 6th grade teacher, a librarian, Assistant principal at Welby, Jordan Hills and Oakcrest Elementary. This is her 26th year in the Jordan School District.
