ANNOUNCEMENTS  FOR STUDENTS:
December 12, 2007

(11-14 thru 1-25) Snow Blitz is back!  Registration information is
located in the main office.

(11-15 thru 12-09) Registration for the Christmas Classic 3 on 3
basketball tournament is available in the main office.  If you are in
interested registration must be in on or before December 9th.

(11-30 to 12-14)    Auditions for the musical, "Guys and Dolls," will
be held December 13 and 14 from 3pm to 6pm in the auditorium.  It is
first come first serve as to the order of auditions.  You must come
prepared with your application filled out and your required piece of
music to sing.  You can get applications and copies of the required
songs from Mr. Taylor (choir room), Mrs. Austin (room 103), or Mrs.
Gordon (room 503) starting Monday December 3.   Call backs for people
who will be considered for lead roles will be posted the morning of
December 17 (Monday).  Those who make call backs need to be prepared to
stay after school on December 17 from 3 to whenever we get done.  The
final cast list will be posted December 18 after school.  Auditions are
closed auditions.  This means that no one will be allowed to watch that
is not auditioning and as soon as you are finished auditioning, you
need to leave.
 
Those who want to help with the musical in other ways; such as
stage crew, lights, make-up, etc.; will not be chosen until the end of
January.  Listen to announcements to find out when to get an
application.

(12-4 thru 12-20)  Hello Elk Ridge! We are helping out one of our
fellow Wapiti with his Eagle Scout Project.  We need you to bring your
old coats, hats, and other winter clothing to the bins in the main
office.  These would be a tremendous help to our community and to this
little scout.  Please help us make this holiday season warm for someone
else.

(12-5 thru 12-20)  The Elk Ridge talent show is scheduled for February!
  Want to show off your awesome skills?  Come try out!  Auditions are on
Jan. 8, and 9, from 3-5.  You have all of Christmas break to get your
act together!  At auditions, all acts need to be finished and
perfected, so get ready!  Sign ups will be announced after Christmas
break.  We want to see you shine!

(12-7 thru 12-14)  PTSA has extra Hoodies and T-shirts.  If you are
interested in purchasing one, you can pay the Main Office and receive
one at that time.  T-shirts are $10.00 and Hoodies are $25.00.
