Mr. Taylor was born and raised in California and was involved in all things musical from an early age. His primary instrument is the voice (Tenor), secondary is the trumpet and piano comes in third. He studied Vocal Performance and Music Education at California State University Northridge and The Hartt School at the University of Hartford, CT receiving his Bachelor of Music. Later, he attended Ohio State University and received Masters Degrees in Vocal Pedagogy and Choral Conducting. Mr. Taylor has been involved in peforming as a director and vocal soloist as well as with choirs and musical theatre/opera companies. He has taught music classes in public schools at all levels K-12. He loves his students and is extremely happy and proud to be a Wapiti at Elk Ridge Middle.
