NEWS: Jordan Education Foundation awarded 151 teachers with a Mini Grant this year. Our school received $2,121 dollars. The Mini Grants were awarded to Mrs. Zac, Mrs. Boehme, Mrs. Westgate, Mrs. LaRue, Mrs. VanOrden and Mrs. King. The money will be used for spelling and other curriculum programs. The Foundation, comprised of about 20 volunteers from our communities and businesses, works hard all year long to raise money for this program and others that enhance the quality of education for students in Jordan School District. Each Mini grant can be up to $500 and is used to fund classroom projects with emphasis on literacy, math and science, and also includes the fine arts and technology. “Congratulations to all who received an award this year. We know it will make a positive impact on our school and thank these teachers who made the extra effort to apply for a Mini Grant.”
