Dear Edgemont Families,

Due to family circumstances, it has become necessary for me to retire as principal of Edgemont Elementary School.  I have truly enjoyed my two years here.  We have a fabulous faculty and staff, who work hard to provide excellent experiences for your children.  The PTA support has been amazing.  Denise Lancaster and her PTA board have served this school better than any PTA with whom I have worked.  I’m sure that Julie Jacoway and her board will continue the fine tradition.  We have a very caring School Community Council whose goal is to support teachers and provide rich experiences for the students.

I will truly miss associating with all of you.  I wish you much happiness and success in the years to come. Enjoy your summer and remember how important it is to encourage your children to keep reading.
