6th Grade Distinquished Dolphin Goals

Distinguished Dolphin Award
The Distinguished Dolphin Award is an optional award which is worked on independently throughout the year and awarded the last day of school. Sixth Grade students must complete 10 out of the 16 goals to receive the Distinguished Dolphin Award.
Goals:
_____ 1. Participate in one community service activity, and document it with your teacher.
_____ 2. Master 100 multiplication facts with 100% accuracy in 3 minutes.
_____ 3. Master 100 division facts with 100% accuracy in 5 minutes.
_____ 4. Earn an 90% average in math all year.
_____ 5. Earn an 90% average on spelling tests all year.
_____ 6. Earn an 90% grade on science/social studies units all year.
_____ 7. Meet monthly reading goals each month.
_____ 8. Publish one book of personal writings.
_____ 9. Complete a research project in science with an 90%.
_____ 10. Complete Presidential or National Physical Fitness goals.
_____ 11. Participate in one enrichment activity.
(Science Fair, Shakespeare)
_____ 12. Any extracurricular activity.
(Band, Orchestra, Choir, Theatre, Sports, Dance, etc.)
_____ 13. Responsible Safety Patrol member all year.
_____ 14. No more than 3 Think Times the whole year.
_____ 15. Type 25 words per minute
_____16. Lunch Worker at least 3 times this year
