Parenting classes
If you have always wanted to attend a Love and Logic class, on March 11th, at the Salt Lake City Marriott, Jim Fay will be there to teach you how to raise responsible kids, how to get them to work harder for you than anyone else, and how to discipline kids without them thinking you are mean.
The cost is $99.00 and it runs from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
For more information you can call 800-338-4065 or to to www.loveandlogic.com.
Ken Garff's Road to Success

This is our third year of involvement in this wonderful program to reward our students for reading.
We will be giving away SIX bikes! Also, one razor scooter will be given away to the girl and one to the boy that reads (individually) the most during the 32 weeks. WOW!
Students are coming up with ideas that they'd like to see Principal Riddle do should the school make their reading goal. 2,460,000 minutes is the goal. Can we do it? We are at 1,028,925 right now!
Magician Mike will help us give these prizes away. He'll be bringing with him a new friend from another continent. You'll want to increase your reading so you'll increase your changes of winning!
AS A REMINDER,
Please keep your children home if they are running a fever or they are sick. Just call the main office and let us know that your child is home sick. There will be no perfect or outstanding attendance awards this year because of the unusual flu season that we have experienced.
If you choose to check out your child before school ends, please do so through the main office, not with the classroom teacher. Also, if you could please make arrangements, if possible, before school regarding checkouts, it would help our office staff tremendously, as well as decrease classroom disruptions.
If your child is interested in taking beginning orchestra, please contact the main office for more information! |
