It’s flu and cold season again.  We’re encouraging our students to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer frequently and to sneeze or cough into tissues or their elbows.  Hand sanitizer is available  in classrooms and we have added dispensing stations in the lunchroom.  Extra precautions are being taken to regularly and thoroughly disinfect frequently touched surfaces.  You can support our efforts to minimize the spread of flus and colds by keeping your child home if he/she is showing flu symptoms, and particularly if a fever is present.  Children who have run a fever should not return to school until the fever has been absent for a full 24 hours without the use of fever-controlling medications.  Under no circumstance should a child with a fever being repressed by medication be sent to school.  Thanks for your support!
